Kyle Mabus



Kyle holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and is a board certified counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors.  Kyle works with individuals, couples and groups of all ages in the areas of communication, anger management, depression and anxiety.  Kyle utilizes methods and techniques focused on self awareness and personal strength management.   His passion is collaborating with individuals and families for parenting, youth behavior, and communication development.

Stefanie Rowe



Stefanie Rowe is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (2004) and achieved her master’s in Community Counseling at UNO (2006). She is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner, a certified strengths coach, a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, and has invested over 10 years in the family service field.  In addition to her individual and group counseling at The CORE, Mrs. Rowe is also a professor at Nebraska Christian College and enjoys chasing her two young sons. She is a guest preacher, service host, and small group leader at Stonebridge Christian Church, loves the Nebraska Huskers, and is excited to meet you!

Yvonne Nachtigall

Licensed Pastoral Counselor


Yvonne is an ordained minister of the gospel and licensed clinical pastoral counselor, licensed by the National Christian Counselors Association.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Counseling and is currently working on her master’s degree.  She is also a certified temperament counselor and a professional clinical member of the NCCA. Yvonne has over 16 years of counseling individuals, couples and families, first as a lay counselor and now as a licensed counselor.  Yvonne will also work with people in areas of Christian spirituality, including spiritual work and development and spiritual and emotional healing.  Yvonne has been married for 32 years and has three grown children and five grandchildren. Her walk with the Lord spans over 40 years and she has served in various capacities in her local church, including prayer ministry, mentoring younger women and couples, and teaching.

Terrica Joseph



Terrica is a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Counselor who provides counseling centered on spiritual wellness. She moved to Nebraska from Killeen, TX. She earned her Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Webster University and her MBA from Saint Leo University. She has worked with children and families for six years with a focus on academic, mental and behavioral health concerns.

Terrica is known for her relaxed and client centered approach to counseling. She works with clients from a strength-based and positive Christian perspective. Her experience includes empowering youth and adults as a therapist in clinical, community, and school settings. Terrica has extensive experience working in community-based programs, and with youth and their families in the foster care and juvenile justice systems.

Terrica became a therapist to help people live healthier, happier and more productive lives. Through her faith-based approach, she strives to help individuals achieve their goals in a way that is not only encouraging but also promotes growth and positive change. Terrica is a wife and mother of three children. She enjoys spending time with her family, writing and crafting.

Cainos Manyara

CORE Counseling Intern

Cainos Manyara is a counseling intern through The Core. As an intern, he is completing his final requirement in order to graduate in May and then obtain his counseling licensure. His role includes offering counseling, marital and family counseling, group counseling, and topical groups – all at no cost.

Cainos is completing his Master’s Degree in Counseling at Grace University. Offering over thirty years of pastoral and evangelism experience, he looks forward to ‘helping people get up and fulfill their God given dreams.’ Cainos is a missionary from Zimbabwe in Africa. He has been married to Sharon for 25 years and together they have three precious children, Brandon, Bralyn and Shalom.

Brenda Neyens

LPC, Spiritual Formation Director


Brenda holds a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from the University of Nebraska, is a nationally certified counselor since 2003, and is completing her doctoral degree in ministry from Ashland Seminary. Brenda’s area of expertise is lessening anxiety for teenagers and adults through individual counseling. She pairs with Nate Seadore and their team to hold Unlocked group counseling and seminars. They teach practical tips to lessen anxiety and instruct others on the use of spiritual exercises that increase overall emotional health and mind function.

Nate Seadore

LPC, LIMHP Co-lead Unlocked, Group Counseling


Nate graduated with a master’s degree in counseling from Grace University. He has been a fully licensed counselor for the past 8 years with a wealth of counseling experience from a variety of settings.  Nate’s passion is to help others that are stuck in a season, a cycle, or a lifetime of suffering and brokenness to a journey of wholeness. Nate’s expertise is in the field of anxiety.  Nate co-leads Unlocked, group counseling and seminars at The CORE, with his colleague and friend, Brenda Neyens, with whom he has been leading groups since 2008. Nate and Brenda offer seminars through The Core. They may also be booked and bring their Unlocked Seminars to your organization.  Nate’s free time is spent with his wife and daughter, and his outside interests include a good cup of coffee, clever conversation, and a thoughtful podcast.
